A rare Harry Potter book bought for 30 pence has sold for £10,500 at auction.

It is reported that the book in question is one of the 500 copies of the first edition of Harry Potter and the Philosopher's Stone.
 
Foreign media reports that the book was put up for auction by Richard Winterton Auctioneers at Lichfield Auction Center in Fradley Park last Monday.
 
Accordingly, the winning bid was reportedly won online by a buyer in Los Angeles.
