A state revenue of Rs. 1,942.36 billion has been recorded during the period from January to May 2025.

The Central Bank of Sri Lanka stated that this is an increase of 19.95% compared to the state revenue value during the same period last year.

The increase in gove ment tax revenue from Rs. 1491.25 billion to Rs. 1801.48 billion during this period has been the main contributor to this.
