Inte ational Monetary Fund (IMF) Deputy Managing Director Mr. Kenji Okamura is scheduled to arrive in Sri Lanka today (31) for a two-day official visit.

The State Ministry of Finance stated that he is going to discuss with the President, Ministry of Finance officials and officials of the Central Bank of Sri Lanka.

He will also be engaged in an observation tour of several projects including the Colombo Port City.
 
The State Ministry of Finance said he will participate in several rounds of discussions on recent trends in Sri Lanka's economic development, opportunities to empower the economy in the future, and ways to minimize obstacles and delays.
