The submarine 'INS Vagir' belonging to the Indian Navy arrived at the port of Colombo this mo ing (19) for an official visit.

The Navy stated that the submarine was received in accordance with Navy tradition.
 
The submarine is 67.5 meters long.
 
Commander Diwakar S is said to be the commanding officer of the submarine which has 60 crew members.

Its members and members of the Sri Lanka Navy are going to participate in a yoga program held on the occasion of Inte ational Yoga Day.
 
The Navy stated that the submarine is scheduled to leave the island on the 22nd after completing its official visit.
