The Central Bank of Sri Lanka says that the import restrictions of 843 types of goods have been eased so far.

Accordingly, the limit of cash margin equal to the total value of the goods or 'Cash Margin' has been removed while importing the goods.

Among the goods that have eased the import restrictions are mobile phones, refrigerators, electric fans and many essential items including fruits.
