The Department of Meteorology says in an announcement that there will be some rain in Weste and Sabaragamuwa provinces and in Galle and Matara districts.

The rest of the island will have mainly rainless weather conditions.
 
In North, North-Central and North-West Provinces and in Trincomalee and Hambantota Districts, the winds are blowing at times per 40-45kmh.
