530,746 tourists have visited the island during the period up to March 05, 2025.

The Sri Lanka Tourism Development Authority stated that 37,768 tourists have visited the island during the first 05 days of March alone.

The authority further stated that most tourists have come from countries such as Russia, India, the United Kingdom, Germany, and France.
