After giving a statement for about 04 hours, Parliamentarian Namal Rajapaksa left the Criminal Investigation Department a few moments ago.

He had previously been summoned to appear before the CID to give a statement in connection with an investigation into his alleged links with criminal gang member Kehelbaddara Padme.

Accordingly, Parliamentarian Namal Rajapaksa appeared before the Criminal Investigation Department at around 10.15 am today (03).CID.
