Mr. Anupa Pasquale, Minister of State for Social Empowerment, says that a new pension system will be introduced in the near future.

The State Minister mentioned that the gove ment is going to introduce a contributory pension scheme.

He also said that many countries in the world that have implemented that system have achieved very successful results.
