The Central Bank of Sri Lanka has decided to lower the Regular Deposit Facility Rate (SDFR) and the Regular Loan Facility Rate (SLFR) by 250 basis points.
Accordingly, the Regular Deposit Facility Rate (SDFR) has been reduced to 13.50% and the Regular Loan Facility Rate (SLFR) has been reduced to 14.00%.
Meanwhile, the Central Bank further states that by the end of May, the official reserve of the country has exceeded 3 billion US dollars.
