It is reported that at least 20,000 Palestinians have been killed in the Gaza Strip since Hamas began bombing Israel on October 7.
Data from the Hamas-run Health Ministry in Gaza show that an average of nearly 300 people have been killed per day since the start of the conflict, excluding the seven-day ceasefire.
However, doctors in the Gaza Strip say the death toll could be significantly higher as the figures do not include bodies buried under the rubble of destroyed buildings or not taken to hospitals.
