The Sri Lanka Foreign Employment Bureau says it expects to provide employment opportunities in the nursing sector in Israel to 2,000 Sri Lankans by 2025.
The bureau stated that 148 Sri Lankans have been provided with employment opportunities in the nursing sector in Israel since the beginning of January this year.
According to a memorandum of understanding signed between the Sri Lanka Foreign Employment Bureau and the Israeli Institute of Nursing, 2,038 Sri Lankans have been provided with employment opportunities in the nursing sector in Israel.
