It has been decided to hold the 2025 Poson Festival in Mihintale with full state sponsorship.

It is reported that the theme of this year's National Poson Festival is 'May the world be enlightened by the teachings of Buddha'.

In conjunction with the State Poson Festival, various programs have been implemented from June 1st, giving priority to Amisa and Prathithi Poojas.

It is reported that attention has also been paid to providing all kinds of facilities to the hundreds of thousands of people who will visit Anuradhapura during the Poson Festival.
