President Anura Kumara Dissanayake has arrived at the Vatican Embassy today (24).

It is reported that the President expressed his condolences on the passing of His Holiness Pope Francis.

The President was warmly received by the Apostolic Nuncio to the Vatican in Sri Lanka, His Eminence Archbishop Brian N. Udaigwe.

It is reported that President Anura Kumara Dissanayake signed the condolence book after a brief discussion with Archbishop Udaigwe.
