The National Election Commission says that attention has been paid to the creation of mobile polling stations for physically challenged people.

Its chairman, lawyer Mr. Nimal Punchihewa, mentioned that the vote will be taken by going to the person's house.

However, he also mentioned that the related laws should be amended.

He further said that the drafting of legislation is aimed at giving voters who are employed in several fields the opportunity to cast their vote on a day before the election day.
