In Sabaragamuwa Province, Galle and Matara Districts, after 4.00 pm, rain or thundershowers may occur in a few places, the Department of Meteorology says in a statement.

The announcement also stated that there is mainly rainless weather in the rest of the island.

There is a possibility of frost in some places in Nuwara Eliya district during the early mo ing.

In some places in Sabaragamuwa and Central provinces, Galle and Matara districts, foggy conditions may prevail in the mo ing.
