A meeting was held between former President Ranil Wickremesinghe and former President Mahinda Rajapaksa at the Carlton House in Tangalle yesterday mo ing (28).

This was while former President Ranil Wickremesinghe was retu ing to Colombo from Kataragama.

At the meeting, Ranil Wickremesinghe expressed his gratitude to Mahinda Rajapaksa for the role he played during his imprisonment.

It is also reported that Ranil Wickremesinghe, who visited the Carlton House, has also taken steps to inquire about the well-being of Mahinda Rajapaksa.
