A red notice has been issued by the Meteorological Department regarding the deep depression in the Southeast Bay of Bengal sea area.

It was issued today (11) at 11 am and will be effective for the next 24 hours.

Meanwhile, the weather department is also informing the multi-day fishing vessels sailing in the Bay of Bengal area to be careful.
 
The department stated that the cyclone 'Mokha' was centered near 11.2N and 88.1E by 5.30 am.
 
The announcement indicates that it is likely to gradually develop into a severe cyclone around midnight today.
