Jeewaka Prasanna Purasinghe has assumed duties as the new chairman of the Sri Lanka Transport Board today (06).

This was at the Sri Lanka Transport Board head office in Narahenpita.

He completed his primary and secondary education at St. Anthony's College, Matara.

It is also reported that Jeewaka Prasanna is a graduate in science from the University of Kelaniya.
