The Atto ey General informed the Supreme Court today (18) that according to the orders issued by the court in relation to the basic human rights petitions submitted in connection with the Easter Sunday terrorist attack, the damages office has received an amount of Rs. 311 million as compensation.

The notification was given by the Additional Solicitor General who represented the Atto ey General when the fundamental rights petitions filed in relation to the incident were called today.

Here, the bench informed the Additional Solicitor General to submit a report to the court on the next day about how these compensations have been paid to the victims.

After that, the relevant petitions were called again on February 27th.
