Gampaha Police have apprehended a 35-year-old suspect in the Kaduwangaha area in connection with the high-profile theft of Rs. 7.5 million from a safe cash transport vehicle in Minuwangoda.

Authorities recovered over Rs. 3 million from the suspect during the arrest.
