A group of parents have engaged in a silent protest in front of the Ministry of Education today (19) demanding the re-implementation of the temporarily suspended education reforms.

It is reported that this protest has been initiated by a group of parents organized as the Grade 06 Parents' Association.

Protests have also been held in the Polonnaruwa and Galle areas for this purpose. (19),
