Minister of Health and Mass Media Dr. Nalinda Jayatissa stated that steps will be taken to develop all regional hospitals in the Northe Province under a five-year development plan.

This was during a special inspection tour of several hospitals in the Mannar district of the Northe Province.

He further stated that by developing such hospitals, necessary steps will be taken to provide quality and efficient health services to the rural people living in that province.
