President Anura Kumara Dissanayake has instructed the relevant departments today (20) to appoint a committee led by the Presidential Secretariat to investigate the corruption and irregularities that have occurred at SriLankan Airlines.

This was during a discussion held at the Presidential Secretariat today (20) with the Board of Directors of SriLankan Airlines and representatives of all trade unions affiliated to it.

This discussion is reported to have lasted for nearly 4 hours.
