According to the 2025 rankings released by passport analysts Henley & Partners, the Sri Lankan passport has been ranked 91st in the world.

It is reported that this was at 96th place last year.

Meanwhile, the number of countries that Sri Lankans can travel to without a visa has also increased to 42.

It is also reported that in addition to Sri Lanka, Iran and Sudan are also listed at 91st place.

Singapore is at the top of this index.

Singaporean passport holders have visa-free access to 193 destinations around the world.

Japan and South Korea are in second place in this index, while Denmark, Finland, France, Germany, Ireland, Italy, and Spain are in third place.
