A suspect has been arrested with T-56 ammunition in the Ambagahawatta area of ​​the Minuwangoda Police Division.

It is reported that the arrest was made based on a tip-off received by a team of officers from the Gampaha Divisional Criminal Investigation Bureau yesterday (24) evening.

The police stated that 08 T-56 live ammunition and 15 practice ammunition were found there.

The suspect arrested is a 53-year-old resident of Ambagahawatta, Minuwangoda.
