Foreign media reports that China has started an investigation into Taiwan's iPhone manufacturer Foxconn.
Accordingly, it is reported that officials of Foxconn businesses in two Chinese provinces, Henan and Hubei, conducted tax inspections.
Foxconn says it is cooperating with the investigation.
It is also stated that China's Department of Natural Resources conducted on-site inspections on land use by Foxconn businesses.
Foxconn is one of the world's largest employers, producing iPhones for Apple.
