The International Civil Aviation Organization has expressed its support for the development of airports in this country.
It is reported that the agreement was reached during a discussion between the country's representatives and the Secretary General of the International Civil Aviation Organization on the sidelines of its triennial conference.
The conference is currently being held with the participation of representatives from 183 countries.
It is reported that Deputy Minister of Ports, Aviation, Transport, and Highways Ruwan Kodituwakku and a group of others have participated in it, representing Sri Lanka.
