The Ramadan festival, which is celebrated with great enthusiasm by Muslim devotees, has fallen today (31).

The Colombo Grand Mosque announced that Ramadan will be celebrated today due to the sighting of the new moon.

After the month-long Ramadan fast is over and the new moon is seen, Muslim devotees celebrate Eid al-Fitr, or the day of Ramadan.
