The US Congress has approved a revised spending bill to end the longest government shutdown in American history.
This was done with 222 votes in the House of Representatives.
It was then sent to President Donald Trump for approval, and with his signature, the government shutdown has ended.
Foreign media reported that the current US administration submitted the government spending bill to Congress for approval about a month and a half ago, but the opposition, led by the Democratic Party, strongly opposed it.
