President Anura Kumara Dissanayake is scheduled to leave for America today (22).

The President's Media Division stated that the President is scheduled to leave the island tonight to attend the 80th session of the United Nations General Assembly.

The President is also scheduled to address the United Nations General Assembly at 3.15 pm local time on the 24th.

During this visit, the president-secretary-general is also scheduled to hold bilateral discussions with the secretary-general of the United Nations and several heads of state.

The president of Employment is also scheduled to meet with Sri Lankans living in America, the Presidential Media Division stated.

Minister of Foreign Affairs, Foreign Employment and Tourism Vijitha Herath is also scheduled to participate in this visit with the president.
