An accident occurred today (15) when a tipper truck veered off the road and crashed into a wall.

It happened in the Thenmarachchi, Navatkuli area on the Jaffna-Mannar road.

Two people have died in the accident.

The police stated that a tipper truck that was illegally transporting sand lost control of its speed and veered off the road.

Two youths, residents of Wattakachchi, Kilinochchi, have died in the accident.
