229,298 tourists arrived on the island in March 2025.

The Sri Lanka Tourism Development Authority stated that the number of tourists visiting the country for the first quarter of the year has increased to 722,276.

This is reportedly an increase of 14% compared to last year.

Meanwhile, weekly tourist arrivals in March have consistently exceeded 50,000.
