Toyota suspends sales of Yaris model

Foreign media reports that the company has decided to recall more than 7,000 Toyota Yaris cars.

Accordingly, several Toyota Yaris petrol and hybrid car models produced between 2020 and 2023 have been recalled.

It has been reported that this manufacturing defect has occurred in Ascent Sport 1.5L Petrol Auto Hatch and Ascent Sport 1.5L Petrol Manual Hatch types.

The related reports further indicate that the cars have been recalled due to a manufacturing defect related to the balance of the car models.

In the meantime, the foreign media has further reported that if there are people using the cars produced during the relevant period, they should be inspected.

Foreign media have further reported that approximately 7,633 cars of that type will be affected.
