Dense fog has disrupted traffic in the Central Highlands during the night.

It is reported that this situation has arisen with the heavy rains that have been falling in the watershed areas in the weste slopes these days.

The police stated that this dense fog condition is prevailing on the Hatton-Colombo, Hatton-Nuwara Eliya A 7 main roads, and on the by-roads around Hatton.

Accordingly, the Hatton Police have informed drivers to be careful while driving on those roads
