The ASAHI ship belonging to the Japan Maritime Self-Defense Force, which arrived in Sri Lanka on the 1st of last month, has departed the island today (03).

The Sri Lanka Navy stated that in accordance with naval traditions, a traditional farewell was given to the departing ship at the Colombo Port.

Meanwhile, the ship's commanding officer, Commander Shota Takashiro, has met with the Commander of the Weste Naval Command, Rear Admiral Chandima Silva.
