The foreign travel ban imposed against former President Mahinda Rajapaksa and others has been completely lifted.

The relevant foreign travel ban was imposed in relation to the incident on May 09.

Accordingly, the order will also apply to the members of Parliament Rohitha Abeygunawardena, Minister Pavithra Vanniarachchi and former Provincial Council member Kanchana Jayaratne.

The order to lift the foreign ban has been issued by the Fort Magistrate Court.
