Two new deputy governors have been appointed for the Central Bank of Sri Lanka.

The Central Bank issued a statement announcing the appointment of President Anura Kumara Dissanayake as the Minister of Finance.

Accordingly, Dr. C. Amarasekara, who served as an Assistant Governor of the Central Bank of Sri Lanka, has been appointed as Deputy Governor with effect from 24th October 2025, and Mr. K.G.P. Sirikumara, who served as Assistant Gove or, has been appointed as Deputy Governor with effect from 03rd November 2025.
