The Federation of University Lecturers' Unions has begun a strike.

Protesting the shortage of university lecturers, salary discrepancies, and allowance cuts.

The Federation of University Lecturers' Unions stated that this one-day strike is in effect in all universities across the island.

They said that despite discussions with the authorities on numerous occasions, no proper solutions were found.
