The 10 suspects, including Venerable Balangoda Kassapa Thero, have been ordered to be further remanded until the 28th.

This was after they were produced before the Trincomalee Magistrates' Court today (19).

They have been charged with violating the Coastal Conservation Act and unauthorized construction in connection with the Trincomalee Buddha statue incident.
