This year's theme is 'We Can End Tuberculosis Commit Invest Deliver.'

Misaya Kader, a community medicine specialist at the National Tuberculosis and Chest Diseases Programme, said that there are about 9,500 tuberculosis patients in the country.

She further said that one tuberculosis patient can infect 15 healthy people.
