Sri Lankan rupee became the world's worst-performing currency



Nomura Financial Company has wa ed that currencies of 07 countries, including the Sri Lankan Rupee, are among the seven currencies with the highest currency risk in the world.

Nomura Financial Company is Japan's top brokerage and investment bank.

Egypt, Romania, Sri Lanka, Turkey, the Czech Republic, Pakistan and Hungary are the countries that own the seven currencies, and Nomura Financial Company has wa ed that there is a high risk of a currency crisis in these countries.
 
Nomura Financial Company has taken into account 08 factors including foreign exchange, foreign reserves, interest rates of a country to prepare the model designed to determine whether a currency crisis may occur in a country.
