The United Nations has said that more than a million people in the northe Gaza Strip have been forced to leave their homes since Israel began its fight against Hamas.

It is also reported that Israel is preparing to launch a special ground attack.

In this regard, Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas has stated that the actions of the Hamas group 'do not represent the Palestinian people'.

Also, United Nations Secretary General António Guterres has requested Hamas to release all the hostages.

He also mentioned that it has been decided to provide humanitarian aid to the Gaza Strip.
