A 3-year-old girl has died in a road accident that occurred at the 5th pillar area on the Aluthgama-Mathugama road.

Police said that her mother and father, who were riding the motorcycle, have been hospitalized.

The accident occurred when a motorcycle and a cab collided.

Police said that the driver of the cab has been arrested in connection with the incident.
