4750 drivers booked



The number of drivers caught driving under the influence of drugs has increased rapidly, says Deputy Inspector General of Police Traffic Control and Road Safety W. P. J. Senadheera.

The Deputy Inspector General stated that cases have been filed against 4750 drivers who were arrested for driving under the influence of drugs within the past 4 months.

He stated that the number has increased significantly compared to previous years.
