A group of tourists in a popular Egyptian resort witnessed a shark attack in the Red Sea yesterday (9).

The attack took place about 30 meters from the beach.

A 23-year-old Russian man has been attacked by a shark.The Egyptian authorities have declared that the Russian has died.

It is said that there have been shark attacks in this area in 2018, 2020, 2022.

After the incident, the area has been banned for swimming.
