The latest survey on the status of non-communicable diseases, including diabetes patients, trends, and hypertension, in Sri Lanka is scheduled to be conducted this year.

Specialist Dr. Samiddhi Samarakoon, Director of the Non-communicable Diseases Unit of the Ministry of Health, stated that the information obtained from this survey will be very helpful in setting new development goals for Sri Lanka and implementing future health services.
