The gove ment has decided to declare April 26, 2025, a national day of mourning.

This is due to the fact that the last rites of His Holiness Pope Francis were performed on that day.

The Ministry of Public Administration, Provincial Councils, and Local Government has issued a notification informing the secretaries and other officials of the ministries to fly the national flag at half-mast in all government offices on April 26, 2025.
