The Colombo Magistrate's Court has ordered the release of former Director of the Criminal Investigation Department, Prasad Ranasinghe, who was arrested by the Bribery Commission, on bail.

This was after considering the arguments presented by the Bribery Commission officials and the suspect's lawyers.
