The National Water Supply Board says that water supply will be suspended for 12 hours in several areas in Mahara and Gampaha from 7.00 pm today (11) to 7.00 am tomorrow (12).

This is due to maintenance work related to the relocation of water pipes related to the construction of the Central Expressway.

The National Water Supply Board stated that water supply will be suspended to the areas of Eldeniya, Gonahena, Webada, Suriyapaluwa, and Udupila under the jurisdiction of the Mahara Pradeshiya Sabha.

The board further stated that water supply will also be suspended to the areas of Parakandeniya, Kossinna, Abaraluwa, Imbulgoda, and Yagoda under the jurisdiction of the Gampaha Pradeshiya Sabha.
